A five-year commitment to climate-resilient WASH, green livelihoods, and ecosystem restoration — for one million Tanzanians.
Resilience Aid was founded on a clear conviction: community vulnerability to climate change, disease, and economic exclusion can be systematically reduced. Registered in Dar es Salaam in February 2026, we work with communities, government, and development partners to make that conviction real.
Vision: Resilient communities thriving in healthy and sustainable environments.
Each pillar is anchored in Tanzania's national frameworks, informed by the 2022 Population Census, and grounded in the evidence of peer organisations. Together, they are mutually reinforcing.
"Communities don't need to wait for resilience to arrive. With the right partnerships and the right resources, they are already building it."
Our strategy is informed by peers including WaterAid, UNICEF, SNV, CARE International, Water for People, CAN Tanzania, and FORUMCC. We align with Tanzania's NDC, NCCRS, FYDP III, and TDV 2050 — as well as global frameworks from the SDGs to the Paris Agreement.
We invite government partners, development organisations, donors, private sector actors, and communities to join us in building the resilient Tanzania of Vision 2050.
